The Kanye West X Adidas Collection Season 2 At The New York Fashion Week
Kanye West unveiled his latest collection 9/11 and lots of celebs came in numbers to see the Kanye West X Adidas collection – Anna Wintour, Drake, Lorde, Jaden Smith, 2Chainz, Seth Mayer, Fabulous, Tyga and the whole of Kardashian-Jenner clan were front row and backstage, with little North West stealing the spotlight.
Just like Season 1, the colour palette was muted, neutral hues ranging from barely there beige through to taupe, brown and black. Again the collection was very street wear in orientation, featuring sweatshirts, leggings, outerwear, and boots. As the show progressed, the clothes shaded from beiges and taupes to browns and blacks, and the models’ hair and skin tone got darker, with the darkest models and clothing coming last. At the finale they arrayed themselves front to back, white to black.

Prada is reinventing the power skirt suit and its simply amazing. We see skirt suits, coats all with the almost identical designs, different only in print, style and fabrics. The print made for a colorful and eye catching collection – checks, tweeds, stripes in suede, cotton, sheer fabrics, organza, metallic snakeskin and leather.
Ms. Prada wanted to go back and think about suits, because we really don’t do them so much anymore,” Fabio Zambernardi said backstage after the Prada show. As Miuccia Prada’s design director, he was acting as spokesman for the designer, absent after the death of an aunt.
