Behind The Wings: Inside The 2015 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Big hair, bejeweled bras and bionic abs–last night’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was a spectacle of hyperbole to rival the inhuman verticality of the underwear brand’s push-up bras. Forty-seven models decked out in 75 different looks strutted the catwalk in front of a star-studded crowd that included Kris and Caitlyn Jenner, who came to support 20-year-old model daughter Kendall in her Victoria’s Secret debut.
Like all good fashion shows, the event started 45 minutes late. Hairspray and air kisses hung thick in the large hall at New York’s 69th Regiment Armory, where the show’s 2,000 guests sipped champagne, preened for selfies and adjusted their sequin shifts. A soundtrack that included Bon Jovi’s “Living On A Prayer” and Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream” blasted through the dimly lit room, which was divided in two by a lengthy white catwalk. At one end, grizzled photographers huddled together, waiting to compete for the impending model money shot.
